"Three
Colours: Red, Blue and White" was directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski in 1993
and 1994. It was the last three films made by him. After two years later, he
was died by illness.
"Blue"
is the depression and freedom; "White" is the dignity and equality; and
"red" is sincerity and love. These three films is talking about
humanitarian and humanistic thoughts.
The
director used many details in the plot to tell the story, from ordinary people's
life to express his respects for the life. In these films, the director was
standing on the perspective of women to tell the story, perhaps because of they
are more vulnerable, can be more easily reflect depression, dignity and sincere.
