Degree show: part one ( fashion design and product design)

I went to the degree show in Newton to learn how to display our works in the exhibition. I like their ways to display in a little space, use different space and different lighting to present different feeling. 

I like one costume design with white colour, clean and simple, use white background and some filament lamp to make the space have the pure white feeling. It also added some bright colors to adorn the clothes, make the clothes more vivid.

Reflective: The art of watching films (chapter 1)

A film’s mood and treatment can range from the lyric to the epic. In my point of view, a film can cover the full spectrum from the purely objective to the intensely subjective; in depth, it can focus on the surface realities and the purely sensual. So sometimes we need to analyze the film when we watching it. The complex nature of the medium makes us difficult to consider all the elements of a film in a single viewing, too many things happen too quickly onto many levels to allow for a complete analysis. Therefore, if we wish to develop the proper habits of analytical viewing, we should see a film at least twice whenever possible.

"Three Colours: Red, Blue and White" was directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski in 1993 and 1994. It was the last three films made by him. After two years later, he was died by illness.

"Blue" is the depression and freedom; "White" is the dignity and equality; and "red" is sincerity and love. These three films is talking about humanitarian and humanistic thoughts.

The director used many details in the plot to tell the story, from ordinary people's life to express his respects for the life. In these films, the director was standing on the perspective of women to tell the story, perhaps because of they are more vulnerable, can be more easily reflect depression, dignity and sincere.

I like to use my phones record the beautiful things around our lives beautiful scenery, typical people or some small things. First, I want to get some source from normal life, to memory the little detail moments in our lives. Second, some beautiful scenery and plants in the natural world can inspire me some ideas.
